Pricing

Pay per event, not per seat.

Most conference platforms tax you by attendee count. ConfDay charges per published event — predictable for organizers, scalable for big shows.

Pricing questions

Common questions.

When am I billed?
You're billed when you publish an event — not when you set it up. Drafts and configuration are always free. Pro plans bill the bundle upfront with per-event credits drawn down as you publish.
What if I exceed the attendee cap?
No surprise overage — we'll alert you at 80% capacity. You can either upgrade the event to a higher tier, or burst with extra-attendee credits ($0.20 per seat over).
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Standard → Pro and Pro → Enterprise upgrades prorate from the day of the change. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
Do you offer nonprofit or academic discounts?
Yes. Community is free for qualifying user groups and 501(c) nonprofits under 500 attendees. Academic conferences receive a 30% discount on Standard and Pro — apply through sales.
How does the Free Community tier work?
Same product, no cost, up to 500 attendees per event. We ask for proof of nonprofit or community status and a credit on your event site. No card required, no time limit.
Do you charge per attendee or per ticket sold?
Neither. You pay per published event. Ticketing is optional — when you use it, Stripe takes its standard processing fee (we add no markup).
